John Wesley spent this year headlining popular venues like The Comedy Catch in Chattanooga, TN, The Stardome in Birmingham, AL, Deja Vu in Columbia, MO Loonees in Colorado Springs, CO, Stanford’s and Sons Comedy Club in Kansas City, KS, Joey’s in Livonia, MI, Crackers in Indianapolis, IN, The Loonie Bins in Little Rock, AR, & Wichita, KS and The Riviera Comedy Club in Las Vegas, NV, just to name a few.  His schedule also included a number of performances at private corporate events,  & county fairs.

At the age of 16, he began performing at a nearby comedy club in his hometown.

In 1995, John Wesley was chosen to participate in THE VAIL NATIONAL COMEDY COMPETITION, winning 1st place in the semi-finals.

Austin has also appeared on THE NASHVILLE NETWORK’s WILD HORSE SALOON DANCE SHOW.

Now, years later, he has earned a reputation as being one of the top stand-up comics in the country.

Austin started off 2001, by taking his humor to the high seas of the Caribbean, performing on 4 ships for the five star cruise line, Holland America. The engagement took him all the way to South America.
