This week, I went to the MBNA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, as a guest of Ryan Pemberton, crew chief for the 01 U.S. Army Pontiac driven by Jerry Nadeau. Somebody hit 'em on pit road and ruined their run for the day...Thanks for the garage pass Ryan, hang in there, success is on y'alls way. |

This is Jason Seitzinger, shock specialist, and pit support for the #24 Jeff Gordon Dupont Team. I gave him one of my "That Ain't Right!" CD's last year at Darlington, and he told me today that Jimmie Johnson driver for the Jeff Gordon owned #48 Lowes Chevrolet, laughed when he heard it. |

My friend Michael Rompf, member of the Team Harrah's car, invited me into the car hauler to meet the owner, auto racing legend A.J. Foyt. We had a great time. He is pretty funny. They had a tough day though, his son Larry Foyt, the driver for the #14 Dodge, was the first of several to have a motor let go. Not a lot of people know it, but since retiring as a driver, A.J. has spent a lot of time working out. |

One of the branches of The U.S. Armed Forces did a fly by during the National Anthem with 2 A-10 Warthogs, but the rednecks of Georgia showed they were not to be outdone by having a fly by of their own. |

This is Bobby Turner, tire specialist for the #24 Dupont Team. We talked for a while. He was not interested in buying the old set of Firestones I took off my Ford Explorer. |
|
I have become quite a Jimmie Johnson fan. He is very consistent, and a talented driver, and he liked my CD. |
